Encouraging purpose-driven short-term mission trips: We recognize the presence and valid purposes of other types of short-term mission trips such as benevolence, prayer walks, music, spiritual growth, etc. but our primary purpose is to encourage believers to consider becoming full-time international missionaries. We believe that the effort to recruit new full-time missionaries should include exposure to what full-time missionaries really do on the field. In order to encourage short-term missions, we work with various campus organizations and churches, lead short-term trips, and sponsor mission conferences aimed at college-aged believers. |

Helping to Promote Purpose-driven Short-term Mission Trips By promoting the importance of purpose-driven in recruiting new full-time missionaries to the mission field. (Close to 90% of all full-time missionaries cite short-time mission trips as one of the leading motivations to their becoming full-time.) By organizing purpose-driven short-term mission trips. By helping other organizations and churches organize purpose-driven short-term mission trips. By offering training and help to organizations having purpose-driven short-term mission trips. By encouraging college-aged young people to find a short-term mission trip. By sponsoring a mission conference for Middle Tennessee college-aged young people where we bring together the students with representatives from mission organizations offering short-term mission trips. |
